DESIGN makes space act in harmony; CONSTRUCTION renders it into reality. 

Alexis & Panos first met in 2002 at the Polytechnic School of the University of Patras. As students of the Department of Architecture, they collaborated in various projects and workshops and finally graduated in 2008 and 2009 respectively.

Alexis continued his studies at Politecnico di Milano, following a 2nd level Master in Sustainable Territory and Architecture. After completing his course, he moved to London where he worked as an intern Architect at MYAA - Mangera Yvars Architects. In 2010 he begun collaboration with the New York based studio of PATH Architecture as Design Architect. From 2012 to 2014 he worked for Stones & Walls Ltd. as Project Architect on the design and construction of various housing and restaurant interiors. In parallel, he followed a part-time MSc in Structural Design & Construction Management at Kingston University London, from where he graduated in 2015. Since then, he has collaborated with ACRM SA, as Construction Manager in various residential and commercial projects around Greece as well as with TPA - Thymio Papayannis Inc. involved in large scale detail design projects in Dubai and Iraq.

Panos alongside with his studies at the University of Patras, worked as an intern Architect at Gek TERNA group on the construction of Athens Olympic venues . In 2007 begun a collaboration with BETAPlan Ventourakis  – Tavaniotis Architects as Design Architect on projects of the public and the private sector, such as the design of the underground railway of Thessaloniki. From 2010 to 2014 he worked as a freelance Architect in housing projects around Athens, while collaborating with Alpha Bank as Real Estate Appraiser, with over a hundred reports of residential properties. Since then, he has collaborated with DIATMISI ATE construction company, undertaking the construction of private projects around Greece.

In 2014, Alexis and Panos joined again to form BARRENDER design & construction.
